Headlight reflector problem on 94 850 TURBO 850

I have notice that my driver side headlight gets jumpy when going over bumps on the road. Today, when I try to push the socket for bulb, the whole reflector seems to be loose( can be moved around with very little pressure). When I try it on the other side its firm.

Could I fix this by taking the headlight out and how? Is it posible to fix the by turning the adjustments behing the headlight?

TIA,
Zee

Zee, If you remove the cover where the bulb is inserted you can see between the two bulbs the metal stud knurled at the end which is pressed into the housing and at the other end a metal ball which is inserted in a black plastic socket which attaches to the bottom of the reflector. Any one of these may be loose or pulled apart .The adjustment knob only affects the top of the reflector but maybe you have backed the rod out so it is no longer attached to the reflector.

Mine did the same thing. Remove the lens off the headlight by taking the clips off around the edge. The reflector is mounted on ball and socket and sometimes they come loose.

Good Luck.
