Does anyone know what is the coolant change interval, 2 years or 4 years for the Volvo S40? Currently my car has the original coolent from factory.

    The manual indicates that it should be "checked/adjusted" every 7,500 miles. We recommend flushing the whole system out every 30,000 miles.

    Volvo recomends replacement of coolant when the system is open for repairs. There is no recomended time or mileage interval. I recomend every 2 years or 30k.
