seen one on newer models (it's a little like shade you pull over the rear area to hide stuff from the crowd)

I figured IPD might source them (they do sell cupholders)
but didn't see it in their lineup
is there a dealer part we can get for this?

I got mine from dealer when I puchased the car new. Very easy to install, it came with the template for drilling the holes. You should try Ebay if you don't want to pay a lot for it.

I found mine on EBay - nearly new. They are available at the dealer or through any of the online sources - wolvoparts.com, alloemvolvoparts.com, nils selfelt (sp?), etc.

Note to install it, you need to drill some holes, so make sure if you buy a used one, you get the Volvo supplied templates as well.
