Traction Control Systems 850

This is a more general question than merely about TRACS. Are traction control systems supposed to work in reverse gear also ? I can't see why not but then again...

Afterall, it isn't that unusual to be reversing up a slippery road.

Mine worked in reverse just a few minutes ago.

I seem to recall that it does work in reverse. Though, I can't say that I've tried it out, even backing uphill on my snow-covered driveway into my garage at night.
