Headlight bulbs repalcement went wrong 850 1997

My right side bulb blew this w/end and I replaced it. Now, upon puting the new bulb back into the opening, I must have inserted it wrong cause it would not fit snug. And it would not come back out to fit correctly. Now the bulb is loose in the hole and you know how hard it is to work in that space. Short of braking that connector, I don't know how to get it out. Should I go see my friendly dealer and have them mess with it??? thanks for any help, BD
PS- the bulb works but is obviously pointing at an angle!!!

This one sounds familiar.....on my car I had trouble putting the bulbs in. I found that the bulbs only go in one way, and that the wiring on one bulb pointed straight down, while the wiring on the other bulb pointed in completely different direction. This was only discovered after I couldn't get the second bulb to line up like the first one. Very irritating.

Suggestions....make sure that your replacement bulbe are the same type as the ones you took out.....stick your head down there and look at the socket to see if you have the tabs lined up and that you are trying to install the bulb properly.

If you really cannot get it out you could try removing the body piece below the head light and taking the lens off. However, I think that it probably would be VERY difficult to put the lens back on.

On my 95, the body piece below the headlight just pulls off, start in the middle of the car. Take a good look behind the body piecw with a bright flashlight before you start. The light also comes in handy when you are putting it back on.

Your other option would be to remove the entire headlight assembly. I really do not know how hard this process is, but removing the directional signal is quite easy. With the body piece and the directional out, you might see how to remove the headlight.

when i was installing my aftermarket bulbs i had trouble installing the right side bc of the lack of space. try moving parts of it around and just try to jiggle it loose while turning it counter clockwise. please dont go insane on the bulb lol. i stopped swearing and jumping up and down and calmly turned it and it came out. just make sure when you put it in, you securly put it in the slots and turn it clockwise
