850 washer pump 850 1993

Hello All:

My washer pump doesn't work. Yes, I have replaced the T-valves, etc. Yes, I have disconnected the washer tube before the valves and tried to get fluid this way. No luck. No noise comes from the washer motor when I depress the lever. Now, I'm assuming I need to replace the motor. How in the heck do I get to it and replace it?

If you have a wagon it will have two washer pumps, one for the windshield and lights the other for the back window. The pump for the windshield and lights is located in the top of the washer fluid resevoir, the pump for the rear window is located below the washer resevoir, if you look at the top of the washer resevoir you will see two connections, one for the washer level sensor and one for the washer pump. It is possible to pull the pump out of the washer resevoir from the top but I prefer to remove the washer resevoir by removing three bolts holding the resevoir to the body. The bolts can be accessed from the underside of the car just infront of the front wheel well. Hope this helps.
