Today I received a Facet MAP sensor from FCP, similar to IPD . Appears to be a improved design with four pin connection and larger diameter hose!
I can only guess that the Facet would attach to the intake manifold and would be more accurate.
The current Volvo/Bosch sensor has three pin and small diameter outlet! Numerous changes would be required .
Amazon also has MAP sensors that are similar. I spoke to FCP and will return part. This is for V70 Base NA 2002.

    There are videos of folks installing a similar MAP sensor on a later intake manifold, Amazon apparently is aware of this issue? Adaptation to use the Facet would require a later intake manifold or machine work to my manifold!
    My V70 uses a MAP mounted under the radiator cross bar!
    Surprised that I am the Guinee pig?
