Fuel leak when filling V70-XC70 2007

Greetings,

My XC70 w/194K miles recently developed a new leak. When I am fueling the car, some gasoline drips from right under the filler. It only drips while filling up the car; there is no leakage after filling, even with a full tank.

I am guessing this might be a leak at the filler neck or where the neck enters the tank. Not sure what to do to confirm that/fix the problem. Is this a job best left to my local volvo indy mechanic? Thanks

    First, make sure your filler neck is properly attached. You could also have someone pour fuel into the tank as you watch from underneath to try and locate the leak. Be very careful not to get any in your eyes. Safety glasses are recommended.
