Met a fellow today who dismantles and parts out R series Volvos. I purchased a set of wheels for my 2006 XC70. Got me thinking: Are there any parts from R series that I can use to improve my (and wife's 2013 S60)? I don't want to get into brakes, but what about headlights or anti-sway bars? Are they interchangeable?

Sorry - I just read the last part of your post - the rear anti-sway bar on my 855R did not really look like a sway bar - one end bolted to the suspension by way of a plate welded at a right angle to the bar

R wheels will probably rub on your fender liners, maybe other parts as well.t
My '96 855R had cut-away fender liners - about 50% of the liner was cut away to accommodate the Volan wheels.

Get the car on a lift to check clearances, including the rear of the exhaust system.

That '96 855R was a fine car - even the dealer's wife who formally owned it told me it was the best car she ever drove!
