      Hi ___?___,

Thanks for being positive and posting a resolution.

Did you replace only one motor mount on the subframe?
Did you check the other motor mounts while it was apart?

      Bill

    Hi

Is it a clicking sound? Then look for a torn boot on your CV joint/drive-axles
A torn boot will throw the grease out and the bearing will destroy itself quickly.
It can be hard to see a torn CV boot, but easier to see a ring of grease thrown around it under the car body.

Check for a busted upper motor mount, and the motor mount under the T-belt.
If you rev the engine, see if the engine is moving with the sudden increase
    in RPM.

Hogged out upper strut mounts might cause some noise while turning.

    Bill

Check the level of your power steering fluid. If it’s low, you are putting a strain on your PS pump causing noise and or vibration when turning the wheel that goes away when going straight.

Will I buy another Volvo??? We'll see....
