I noticed the bulb that lights up the shift selection in the console area is burned out. Wondering if there an LED replacement for these out there or is this one of those unique dealer only items?

It is a 14V bulb, not a 12V. Dealer parts may have one if you are lucky.

The bulb for 2000 V70 console, glovebox is a unique Volvo part number because of the fitted base: 30710781. The console is pretty much disassembled to replace this bulb.

A limited search turns up no LED equivalents. Would need a deeper search to possibly find one.
