How to remove the door sill scuff plare in a 2017 S60!

We just purchased a 2017 S60 and there is a paint bubble at one end of the scuff plate below the driver's door.

I want to remove the scuff plate and see to the rust.

Like some plastic parts in a Volvo, there is a proper way to start the removal without breaking the part.

Thank you Chris - I'll try that in the morning.

Also - thanks for the heads-up on that site!
