The rear section of the exhaust heat shield on my trusty wagon fell off yesterday. What are the consequences of not replacing it? I know: Heat but it is it really necessary? I see I can buy one from Volvo for 225CAD but looking for advice.

    Hi Don,

    $220 ouch.
    Call around body shops, muffler shops, auto welders,
    see if it can be Welded/repaired.
