1996 960 cooling fan not coming on. Looked at FAQ and do not find an answer. Is there a fuse or relay or where should I start?

hi jimo,

first you should post your 960 in the rwd section of brickboard.

you need to find the volvo wiring diagram for your model year.
sometimes you can score this book on ebay.

i found the mitchell's schematics on-line, not anywhere as good as the volvo.
email me and i'll send it to you.
if i publish the link, google and/or volvo will make it disappear.

there's a fan relay on top of the radiator with the red wire providing the
+12vdc. there's a fusible link to find and checkout in that red wire.

Thanks-the daigram is a good start

Cleaned all of the connections and the fan still did not work. Had a spare fan and tried it and the problem is fixed Thanks to BB for the wiring diagram!
