Hi All,

Could someone point me to documentation from Volvo for which fluids should be used in the various parts of the AWD system? I'd like to see it written down somewhere from Volvo. It is not in the electronic "owners manual" and I have seen what seems to be conflicting information online. Tasca Volvo did not return my online inquiry and they are not taking phone calls.

This is the car: 2016 Volvo XC70 AWD Platinum (T5 5-cylinder) . VIN: YV4612NY3G1259164

Fluids needed for:

Angle/Bevel Gear (at the front of the car):

Halidex:

Rear axle oil (differential, final drive):

Thanks very much. I have watched this several times but it was actually part of the reason for my question. There was a bit of a discrepancy in the video vs. what he listed for part numbers. I am a big fan of VolvoSweden videos on Youtube. They have helped me several times already.

I'd like to find the information from Volvo on the fluids, if possible, because it will haunt me that there would be a chance that I might have put in the wrong fluid.

Volvo no longer publishes the viscosity of their non-engine oils. Nor do Mercedes or VW for that matter. Part number doesn't help either as they change annually even if the fluid is the same.

The only thing we can agree on is the use of synthetic oils.
