HI, I have a 98 v70 with the manual climate control. this week, the A/C and recirculate buttons became inoperative. no lights when pressed and the a/c will not turn on. A/C is in good condition and worked great until the other day the button stopped functioning. I am assuming the control unit is tired. I cannot find a used manual one but i find a number of auto ones. anyone every swapped in an auto unit for a manual or have a manual one lying around?

Not swappable. Look for a unit from an850 also. Check Erievovo, a reputable salvage yard.

First remove your unit and make sure it is getting electrics. You did check the fuse, right?
