Throttle body cleaned or replaced ?
Check engine light on “reduced engine performance “
Gas mileage 20 plus
Mileage 140k

    The year is important. Our '04 had contacts that could be cleaned in the throttle body. That worked for a few years then the gears crapped out. Bought one form Xermodex. It was still on the car when the person we sold it to sold it on.

    What year is your car? More information definitely needed.

    Totally wild guess. Could be an air leak throwing the code. Check the air intake hose for damage, cracks etc. Take it off and thoroughly look it over. If original it probably needs replacing. Also check your vacuum hoses for cracks. Particularly on the vacuum tree.

      Year is 2011
      Every once in awhile the message light comes on”reduced engine performance “ and the engine goes into limp mode. I pull of and restart and engine runs fine and message eventually goes out and sometimes the check engine light also
      Probably time to replace if hoses are fine??
