The blower(ventilator) of climate sometimes blowing sometimes not(ecc problem) V70-XC70 2004

Hello!

Please,help...
I have problem with ventilator of climate control(blower) sometimes working sometimes not

I checked the blower powering directly to battery and it works well on full speed

Then i check power wires on the control if the fan and its ok 12v

Then i checked the signal wire voltage from ecc to the fan control resistor and its 0 voltage even if u pull the fan speed ON on the deck

What can i see inside ecc module in electrical part, why the signal wire to the fan is 0 voltage ?

Thanx!

It has been a few years since our '04 V70 left the yard for good but the only problem I had with the heater was that the sensor port inside the car would get plugged up with fuzz / dust / etc. It would make the heater non functional. The temp sensor was staying warm so it didn't send any heat to the cabin.

The sensor port is about an inch square, 3 or 4 little slots on the right side of the heater panel. Take your shop vac and suck the lint out of the port. Don't get too carried away and damage the sensor.
