P1 door electrical connector ? S40-V40 2007

2007 S40 P1. The outside air temperature sensor thinks that it is freezing outside. Poking around the internet turns up a mention of corrosion on the pins inside the electrical connector for the door.

Does the catch for the connector get pressed or pulled to release the locking tab ?

Maybe so. I'll have to try that tomorrow. It looked like there was a latch on the side of the connector.
