Coming home to BB after 5 years 850

I had a one million Kilometer 745 wagon with M46 and wanted to stay W/RWD and erroneously opted for a BMW E46 wagon!(RIP) Now I am desperately looking for a 1997 850 wagon 5/speed.

In any case I do like the appearance and the I-5 168 hp. At this point I have looked at and lost two prime examples.

I have been impressed with KlausC answers to technical questions so I think I can make the transition to FWD.

Please advise me about expected power and technical issues. Or just suggest another model? Must be a wagon!
