AW-50 TRANS FILTER - IMPORTANT ? V70-XC70

Use Aisin 3309 Type IV fluid - change every 2 years.

Do I need to replace filter periodically? Clean? or minor item on these.

How important is the latest software update? Runs great as is.

    Unless someone added an external ATF filter, there is no filter to replace. Keeping the ATF clean is accomplished by what you are doing.

    Unless you are experiencing shift problems, you can delay the updates.

      Thanks Klaus - no problems since I did the servo update - solved the hard shifts and flares.
