Hi All
I have a 2013 S60 with polestar optimisation
On occassions when you put your foot down nothing happens and then the car launches like a rocket
2 massive scares in 1 moment
Had a volvo mech put it on the computer and nothing showed up
To me it seems like a throttle issue and would welcome any thoughts

Because it doesn't happen every time, I would dismiss the throttle issue. I would guess the polestar software might need updating. If you have time on your hands and the temperature is agreeable, pull off the throttle body and give it a good clean.

I have found that when I am in high altitude, over 5,000ft, the turbo engine will almost stall during WOT from standing start - until the rpms get over 1500.
