Volvo 850 tie rod end replacement tutorial? 850 1997

Is there a good step-by-step guide to replacing an outer tie rod end on an 850 somewhere on Brickboard? I had a look around using the search engine but couldn't dig up anything.

The link is for both inner and outer replacement. Outer is quite easy once you get the rusty nut off. Don't forget to count the turns!

A small sledge hammer works wonders. And 52lbs of torque to put the nut back on.

    Don't forget an alignment...

      Thank you Klaus,

I used your reference and the following from Robert Spinner.

Will do the job this week sometime.

      Much appreciated.

It is a pretty straight forward job. You might try Matthews Volvo website - matthewsvolvosite.com

    Or YouTube.

I also used a Haynes book when I had my 850’s. Good general resource. You can probably find one used super cheap. Still have it.
