The right front headlight washer hose cracked. I can't believe how thin it is. has anyone tried to repair the line without replacing the entire line. do you really need the special fittings on the ends?? I really don't want to spend the money for a new line. Do I have to remove the bumper to get access to the connection at the headlight?
Any Idea? /

    The bumper cover needs to come off to expose the washer line. Headlight stays in place.

    I wonder if that water proof tape that is sold on TV to repair pipe leaks will work?????

      thanks for the reply. I used a small brass union I found at specialty shop. I put silicon on the bards and and use wire as a clamp. If that leaks I will put in a new hose. I found you don't need the special connector to the pump. Also discovered it was all made by Ford motor company.

      I took the plastic piece under the bumper off and it was a bear to put back on. It maybe easier to take off the bumper cover.
