Hi, are there any good performance shocks and struts for the P2 xc70’s? I don’t have a car yet, but if I get one I’d like to put on Koni’s or Bilstein’s.

It doesn’t seem to be a lot of suspension or brake performance stuff available.

Few things to consider: Konis are adjustable Bilsteins are not. Konis also have a lifetime warranty. On other BB forums folks have mentioned that the HD Bilsteins were too firm for them on other Volvo models. May not be the case with the P2’s I don’t know...

I was looking but don’t see either the Konis or Bilsteins offered anywhere, even on their own sites.
Again, I don’t have a car yet, but the availability of upgrade parts will factor into my decision.
I just missed out on a gorgeous 2011 xc70 T6 that looked brand new all around, always dealer serviced 95K. I felt it rode too soft but loved it. When I had my 2001 XC it felt “sportier?” (Well as sportier as a AWD wagon could) but I still wanted stronger springs/shocks.( not really wanting to lower though). In the e d I don’t want a lifted off road wagon, but not a lowered one either.
I’m looking at P2’s and/or P3’s

IPD offers a rear anti-sway bar and Koni struts for the P3 XC70. Perhaps some 20" wheels (rimzz!) would also roughen up the ride a bit and allow less movement under cornering.

Get Bilstein H6's...the Heavy Duty shock/strut.
The "4's" and Sachs "SuperTouring" are too close to stock.

As far as brakes go, people are forever fitting larger brakes to the front.
I think it's 286mm to 320mm (or 302mm?).
Same caliper but differing rotor and carrier/bracket.
