2016 XC90 Brakes XC90 2016

I have a 2016 XC90 T6 with less than 20,000 miles and already the brake pads need replacing. And the rear are more worn than the front. The car has the electric parking brake actuator; is there anything unusual about replacing either front or rear pads on this vehicle? Is there any special procedure to retract the pistons in the calipers? (I have seen a video on-line for a V70 that requires the brake motor be removed to retract the piston for the rear calipers.)

Thanks

Thanks for the info and for the links. I saw a similar video on-line where they removed the parking brake motor to retract the parking brake mechanism for a V70.
