Low coolant level light always on S70

It happened suddenly.

Low coolant level warning light will come on after 3 seconds after the engine started and it will stayed on all the time.

The coolant level in the expansion tank is at halfway between minimum & maximum when cold. Everything is fine otherwise.

Any ideas?

Lift up the coolant tank and examine the plug on the bottom. It may have come loose. Worst case, the 'float' inside the coolant tank broke and needs to be replaced.

Found the problem.

Checked the connector and found a little bit of corrosion on the electrical contacts. Vaporized some contact cleaner inside the connector and the Low coolant level warning light turned off.
