Mechanic recommendation Brooklyn, NY V70-XC70 2004

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in NYC?

Thanks!

How about Volvoville in Massapequa, Long Island.

They were good enough for Irv.

In any of the 5 boroughs?

Raised in neighboring New Jersey as I was, I always returned there rather than seek a new, reliable shop.

There were shops with good reputations (and I lived in Bay Ridge for ~20 years) but my intel is way out of date.

Is your car running? What do you need done?

There are places in northern New Jersey I could steer you to.

Thanks for the response. Ideally I'd be looking for someone in the boroughs but I'm not opposed to trekking out to NJ for a good recommendation.

I need someone trustworthy, affordable, and experienced to help me keep my recently purchased used Volvo in good shape. It is running, but I need help with some small electrical stuff and would like to have a good name in my back pocket.

Jim's Auto Repair
231 West Oakland Ave.
Oakland, NJ 07436
(210) 337-5297

This shop was founded and operated for years by a nice German fellow named Hans.
Jim bought it a few years back. I have used him with success.

It's where I'd go if in need.

Just take a walk around the block. Ask them if they work on horseless carriages.

Keeping it running is better than buying new
