Hi all, can i take out the Angle gear and chain drive from the car without removing the cross member?

I have never seen a chain drive activate an angle gear. Which cross member? Most of the members here are cross.

Hi Klaus,
Sorry it was a long day when i posted my question! I meant the chain gear which transfers torque from the transmission to the angle gear. After doing some more research online,it turns out the sub frame needs to be removed to get both units out.
