front mirrors not working correctly. V70-XC70 2008

driver side mirror, folds in and out no problem. But when adjusting up and down it does not move. It moves left/right no problem.

passenger side mirror, problems folding in and out when locking car. mirror moves up down okay, but won't move left to right. mirror seems a bit loose from base in comparison to the driver side.

also need new wire harness for passenger side as the socket for the blinker bulb is non functioning.

The looseness with the passenger mirror may be the problem when trying to fold.

The switch is probably bad in regards to the up down movement. It may have dirty contacts. It can be removed after removing the door panel and cleaned.

Keeping it running is better than buying new
