xc70 air cond. cooloin

My sons 2010 xc70 air cond. doesn't cool well. It cools better when turning a corner. When sitting still it cools well sometimes and not so good at other times.
The clutch on the compressor is engaged both times. Also the electric fan is working. I would not think it is low on freon since it cools well at times.
Any suggestions on a fix will be appreciated.
