vacuum lines S70 1998

performed MUCH needed basic tuneup on 'Helga'...mom named it, so I'm stuck..anyway...cap, rotor and plugs replaced, starts much easier, seems to run better..my query...backside of the airbox, there's two vacuum lines that need to be removed to remove the airbox, allowing better access to that pesky third screw securing the distributor cap...one line black, one white..which goes on top?...or does it make a difference??..

thanks to all

Tom

The line from the intake manifold goes to the upper nipple. The lower nipple goes to the bottom of the airbox.

Keeping it running is better than buying new
