Our new-to-us 2005 XC70 has a squeaking climate control fan/blower. The squeaking seems to be coming from near the glove box, and it stops when I turn off the fan. Suggestions about how to lubricate or silence it are most welcome.

I’d be afraid that lubing it may work but only be temporary. It’s enough of an effort to R and R the fan that you’ll probably want to replace it while you’re in there.
