Unable to take the key out of ignition lock V70-XC70 1998

For some reason I can't take my key out of the ignition today. I don't want to force it... Any ideas?

    Is the key in full off position?

    If not, then you have something going bad or has gone bad inside the gear selector. I don't know the exact name, but I have the same issue in mine and I have to play with the shifter detent to get it to come all the way out, and once it is out I can turn my key off and then pull it out as usual.
