2010

Hello,
My wife is going to look at a 2010 XC70 at the local Volvo dealer today. It has 192Km or just under under 120K miles on it. Her `04 XC70 is running well but getting tired after several years of a daily commute into the city. I don`t much about the newer XC70`s...... any problem area`s or stuff I should be aware of?
BTW, it will be 2 years next month since we bought our 2012 XC60. After almost 50 years of driving Volvo`s, this is my favourite Volvo! Well, there was a`63 544 that was a LOT of fun too.
Rich

That's a high pressure turbo w/300bhp. Lot's of bells and whistles. But I wouldn't buy it unless the dealer put in a cover for the cargo area. No pictures of the tires and amount of wear.

Ask the salesman to supply a list of all maintenance performed at the dealership, they can easily do that. It must include a transmission flush and a Haldex oil/filter swap.

    Nice looking car:

Keeping it running is better than buying new

      Hi Klaus,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry I forgot to type in "XC70".
As it turned out, the XC70 was sold a few hrs before we called our sales rep. We looked at 2009 XC90 which tho` nice, was just too tired to consider as my wife`s daily commuter.
We missed out on a great deal on a 2015 XC60, very low mileage at a great price. Next up was another XC60 in Flamenco Red, more mileage than the previous one but still a contender. After a test drive, we pulled the trigger on this one. Really nice car & my wife is very happy with it.
      Just sold our `03 XC70 & `04 XC70 so now 2 XC60`s in the family........ great cars!
      Rich
