Dealer sold boot looks a tad smaller than what's there. 850 1995

I hate any difference although this could just be normal stretch out. The boot looked smaller so in Jan i went to my local dealer and ordered a 2nd outer boot kit and he sold me the same part, same part #.

I added your photo to make it a little easier.

Not and expert on 850 axle boots, but that wouldn't concern me.

I'd chalk it up to the rubber stretching over the past 23 years and being slathered in axle grease all that time.

I'd rather have the new boot snug (though not enough that it risks tearing) than too loose.
