Happy New Year all, last Thursday driving on the highway, suddenly CEL illuminated and orange arrow flashing on the dash. I pulled off the highway to a safe location and hooked u my scanner, P1618 code. The car struggles to pickup power when starting at stop light/signs, when I reached 45-50 mph, it drives fine. I have researched this code with several possible causes. Any insight on the possible solutions to clear this code. Thanks to all the respond.

Limp home mode puts the tranny in 3rd gear. Try shifting to L at lights and stop signs to keep the slipping to a minimum.

If the ABS light is on, get that fixed first.

It could be a dirty solenoid and a flush with synthetic ATF might help.
