Thinking about purchasing 2010 XC90 I6 XC90 2010

Hello All,

My current ride, 2001 XC70 breathed her last breathe :(. I'm looking at a 2010 XC90 I6 with 53,000 and a good Carfax report. Is there anything I should be worried about on this car?? Transmission issues??

Thanks in advance!!

Wife drives our 2010 xc90 seven years. Just hit 100k miles. I’ve changed out the starter a few years ago with a OEM because of the lifetime warranty. Had repeated battery drain for unknown reasons. I turn off the ac, fans and any other things before turning off engine. Overall we still love the 90.

So long as it didn't come from Houston, it got a little damp down there, it should be quite reliable.

Find yourself a good Volvo code reader that can handle everything, change the oil with synthetic. If it has original tires, you might want to change them soon because of age.

Someone posted that the right rear brake pad wore much faster than the other brake pads, something to watch. Stupid electric parking brakes!

“...So long as it didn't come from Houston, it got a little damp down there...”

When we were shopping for a car last year in the Dallas/Fort Worth area one of the dealers said they would not accept ANY trade-ins or auction purchases from the Houston area as the problem with flood damaged cars was so rampant. Now we’re living back in Atlanta where it never rains ..... yeah, RIGHT!

Klaus, I have a member of this board for many years (more of a lurker than a contributor!!) and I trust your opinion, so thank you. The car was delivered to Westchester NY and all service, according to Carfax, was done in NY. This will be my fourth Brick and hopefully it will give me years of service like the others!!
