Hello All,

I have two 1996 950 GLT wagons (both manuals) and a ’99 XC wagon. When I purchased these vehicle back in the ‘90s, Volvo sold a nice accessory that was a spring activated bag holder. The official name from Volvo for this accessory was a “Hook” and the Part # was # 9499313. I iInstalled these bag holders in all three wagons. I installed them on the side of the center console on the front passenger side. This bag holder or “Hook” was very convenient for holding up a pocket book or book bag. At last, with the passage of time, these bag holders have become worn and broken and Volvo no longer sells them. I have tried looking for used bag holders or NOS on Ebay and Amazon, but to no avail. Does anyone have a suggestion where I could NOS samples?

      Thank you for the lead for the bag holder I was looking for. The link you provided me directed me to The Autobahn Volvo Cars Oak Park and it had the exact holder I was looking to find. I would probably never have found it on my own, so thank you for your assistance! I will probably buy two bag holders just to have extras.

        There are additional, genuine Volvo parts sources on the web as well. My suggestion would be to Google the part no. by typing "Volvo #######" and see what results come up next time you need something.
