so...in doing calipers, I'll need some fluid...any alternatives to the pricey stuff from the dealer...I would think Castrol LMA, but can't find it anywhere...

DOT4 is what you want. Look for ATE200 brake fluid on Ebay with free shipping, about $15/liter.

Any reputable brand dot3/dot4 will be fine. Go ahead and flush the brake fluid in the rear calipers also. Be careful not to get any on painted surfaces as they will then become unpainted.
