I just bought a 2008 xc70. I only have one key fob and that makes me nervous. I've read a little about this, is my only reliable option the dealership?

    It is your ONLY option. A new remote/key has to be programmed to your car. A dealer can cut a new metal key to unlock the door, but the chip embedded in the key will have to match the security for the ignition. It is a bit pricey.

    Keeping it running is better than buying new
