Fuel Pressure Hi C70 2007

My daughter's C70 has been throwing a CEL with the code P0193, Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Hi. I've cleared it once and it's come back. She says the car is "stuttering" which I need to drive and confirm.

My OBDII scanner's Freeze Frame function shows the incident at 312 seconds, 1,700 rpm, 25% throttle and a fuel pressure of 225 inHg. Is that excessive?

I can replace the sensor and see if that's the culprit or is it a fuel pump issue? I don't have a gauge to check rail pressure but could find one at AZ.

Thanks,

Erwin

The above might help, just make sure you get the correct one for your car. I use a pencil style tire gauge, just be careful because if there is a lot of pressure, you will wind up squirting fuel all over when you remove the gauge.

Do you have a source for the shallow T25 torx bits or right angle set? My 1/4" drive set won't squeeze in the space, even with the narrow "breaker bar."

Looks like an engine mounting bracket is in the way, wonder if I could remove it? Hate to pull the fuel rail and disturb the injector seals for this.
