My '04 V70 AWD with 180,000 has a rough idle when starting cold (doesn't repeat when starting warm). It smooths out in about 30 seconds but the CEL flashes, then goes out. I get codes for random misfire, misfire on cylinder 2, misfire on cylinder 4. Any idea on how to solve this? Thanks.

How old are the spark plugs? Ditto for the coils. Time to remove the top cover and take a look.

Thanks, I'll check. Do the coils have the same brittle wire insulation & connectors that my 960 suffered from?
