engine light V70-XC70 2009

Hello all

2009 V70 T6

I left the ignition on overnight and the battery was flat ( no surprise ) and had roadside assist come and give me a jump start

Now the check engine light is on which indicates emissions i believe

Any thoughts any one

Thanks in advance

David

engine light and fan continually running V70-XC70 2009

Thanks Klaus for your reply

it has been 3 weeks since my previous post

i have been very busy and
i didnt put my scanner on the car to read the codes

now the engine fan kept running after the engine turned off so i disconnected the battery and the battery was flat again
it read 1 volt and unable to turn ign on

no codes read on the code reader because i am unable to turn ign on i assume

yet the fan continued to run

i have disconnected the fan and am recharging the battery

so how do i go about diagnosing my issue if no codes read

this car has the twin fans
1 for ac 1 for engine

is the fan module on this car as dodgy as the earlier cars

thanks David

Without getting the codes read, any car parts store can do this, it is just a guess on our part without knowing the actual codes. Have them cleared if you can and see if they come back.
