In April, I posted a story that detailed that a low pressure tire alarm message caused the remote key to fail to unlock the doors.
Well... Saturday we were leaving the house and after driving a few feet, I realized that my right front tire was flat. I did not have a low pressure alarm at the time.
Did you know that the low pressure system does not work if you are not driving? It is in the manual - check yours. I will now look at all my tires before driving!
We took our other car.
Sunday, my remote key would not unlock the doors. I used the metal key to enter the car and I started it - at that time I got a low pressure alarm (message).
As before, the key worked after the car ran.
Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) I got the puncture repaired - the key would not unlock the doors.
After I changed the tire, and drove a few blocks, the alarm went away and the remote key will now unlock the doors.
