Lugnuts too tight? V70-XC70 1998

I just went to try to rotate my tires and I cannot loosen the wheel nuts. Any hints? I tried a breaker bar with no luck. I don't have an air compressor, though I do have reversible hammer drill.

Use a 1/2" or greater breaker bar, you might snap a 3/8" breaker bar.
and a 3-4' length of steel tubing (fence post)
and preferably an impact socket, (19MM) as an ordinary socket might split.
The lugs will either come out or snap off.

Don't go to the place that over torqued the lugs again.
I use Never-Seez and a Harbor Freight Torx stick (80 ft/lbs)
when installing.

Darn rust. The correct torque is 81 lbs. A breaker bar with a long extension is you best bet. I cheat and kick down on the bar, just be careful because if the bar falls off or your foot slips - ouch!

I have been known to use anti-sieze or even motor oil on the threads. There are two points to worry about: The round end that contacts the wheel and the very end of the bolt can get rusty. Even a little dab of brake grease works wonders.

Leverage.
Try a pipe on the end of your breaker bar.

I'm not sure of the specified torque on a '98 V70-XC70, but I would use a torque wrench set to 75 ft-lbs when reinstalling.
