Attempting to source/obtain the "Mounting Kit" for the spoiler for the rear hatch of a 1996 855R. Volvo PN is 9499234 but is discontinued and I have not been able to locate one through the dealer network. Hoping to find someone willing to part with a NOS plastic bag of hardware so I can get my spoiler mounted with the 3-piece brackets instead of the goofy one piece unit that is held on to the hatch hinge with double sided tape. Swedish engineering gone crazy?

    Lots of luck. You might want to try a salvage yard? Or call several dealers and see if they might have kit# 9499234 lying on a shelf or a bin full of NLA parts.

    The double sided tape works, but needs at least 24 hours to cure. The tape does not allow for adjustment like the old style brackets.
