The remote on the key for the V70 only works if you push the button several times. Changed the battery, same result. Relatively unused remote works fine.

has anyone had a remote wear out ? If not, what do you think ?

    Probably the internal contact is dirty, under the button. I don't know how to get the case apart for inspection, but it is not water proof.
