Strut & shock recommendation 850

I am now down to replacing struts & shocks on the new 2me 96' 855 Wagon that my daughter is driving. There are of course several choices depending on how money you want to spend and performance objectives. However, this car has about 200k and I believe the originals are still installed so anything wod be a step up except Gabriels. The Meyle's are very attractive price wise, your thoughts? Also, what else should I plan on ordering with them? Strut bearing, spring seat, etc. Already replaced front control arms and tie rod ends but nothing on the rear yet. I'm sure the suspension arm ball joint is bad there also.

I went with the Bilstein Touring shocks
The IPD HD top strut bushings
    IPD HD sway bar links
I've had trouble finding good ball joints.
The Chinese, Meyle (Turkey), and Moog control arms have all disappointed.
Some people swear by OEM, maybe they're right? You'll notice
that car manufacturers these days are getting low or failing
scores in the ethics department. Quality often takes a back seat to
    short term profits it seems.
