Hi All. I am in need of replacing the exhaust system on my 1999 S80 T6 from the cat back. I have found on FCPEuro the front muffler assembly, but having problems finding the rear muffler. On various other sites, they show the rear muffler for the 2.9L engines as the same as the 2.8L T6 engines. Is this true or not? Is there a difference in the inlet and outlet pipe diameter? I show a Starla rear muffler part # 9404421 as fitting on the pelicanparts.com website, but FCPEuro warns that this same part/part number does not fit the T6. Is FCPEuro wrong or is pelican parts wrong? Need help.

Any info on where I can get a good deal on quality exhaust parts for this car would be helpful. Also, if anyone has a used IPD or other stainless exhaust system for this car they are looking to sell, I am interested. IPD no longer carries systems for this car. Thank you.

Taking my tongue out of my cheek - There are a lot of nice small fog lights today that throw much better patterns than Volvo ones, and probably cheaper also. Check Summit racing - I saw some 2.5 inch Hellas that look pretty nice.

Find one with replacable lenses?

As for the fog lamps, I replaced missing fog lamps in the R model bumper that I put on our '95 855 with a couple of beer cans - I actually think that they threw as much useful light as the real lights on out 855R!

And a lot less expensive.

The above is a parts list for OEM 2.8T. Yikes, the rear muffler is expensive! And shipping is not included in the price.

Thanks Klaus. I spoke with FCP Euro this a.m. They did a part number cross check in it turns out the part number 9404421 does also fit the T6 model's exhaust. They said they need to do a website update as a few of their exhaust system components for both the 2.9L and the 2.8L S80s from 1999-2006 were miscategorized, etc. So I ended up ordering the Starla front and rear mufflers. The front one was $95 on sale at FCP Euro and the rear came to $340 (not cheap, but cheaper than everyone else and FREE shipping with lifetime warranty).

Now I need to find someone who sells just the lenses to the foglamps for my T6. I put new lamps on both sides last summer and both were broken by this spring. Alot of rocks on the winter road sand material put down in Vermont!
